Iain McLean
yourphysio is the brainchild of Iain, and he is Director of the company.
Iain graduated from the University of Queensland in 1988. He worked at The Prince Charles Hospital, then moved to Lake Maquarie to work in private practice. Here, he was heavily involved in sports physiotherapy as well as industrial physiotherapy in the mining industry.
On moving back to Queensland, he worked in a series of private practices and sports physiotherapy centres until 1992, when he initiated Allsports Physiotherapy at Jindalee. In his role here, he was asked to be the first physiotherapist for the Queensland Crushers, whilst at the same time was engaged by the Brisbane Broncos. During this time, he was engaged by numerous soccer clubs, as well as seeing Kenmore Rugby into the Premier Division. He was also the physiotherapist for the Queensland Suburban Rugby Team.
Iain was also responsible for introducing injury management and physiotherapy programs into such companies as Sealy, Day Dawn and Alphapharm.
Iain was responsible for starting most of the Allsports practices from nothing, but sold out in 2005 to begin yourphysio.
Iain is married with three children, all boys, aged 16, 14 and 10.
